Each one is designed around your garden and how you'll use it — a quiet home office, a gym, a studio or just an escape at the end of the garden.

Do I need planning permission for a garden room?

Many garden rooms can be built without a full planning application, but it depends on the size, height, position in your garden and how it will be used, and the rules are different for listed buildings and conservation areas. We'll talk this through with you, and you can confirm with Fife Council or the City of Edinburgh Council before work starts.

What can a garden room be used for?

Home offices, gyms, studios, hobby rooms, guest rooms or simply somewhere to relax. We design each one around how you plan to use it, including insulation, lighting and power.
